Finance Business Partner

Based: Darwen area

Salary: highly dependent on experience, excellent benefits including 31 days holiday + bank holidays, bonus, enhanced pension, hybrid working and flexible hours

Our client is a leading, global business based in Lancashire. The company have embarked on a global expansion over the last few years including numerous acquisitions and further M&A activity planned for the rest of 2022 and years to come. Due to expansion we have recruited a number of people over the last 2-3 years into the growing finance team and we are now looking for an experienced, ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Finance Business Partner to join the team.

This position is hugely autonomous, commercial and the capacity to grow within the business reporting into group

Role:

  • Finance Business Partner with Plant Managers & Head of Logistics across 2 sites
  • Provide accurate analysis of key drivers for manufacturing and logistics
  • Report and analyse cost per litre and inventory days across both sites
  • Regular and accurate reporting across both sites, reporting to group
  • Building relationships across both sites and visiting regularly
  • Ownership of reporting pack and information for manufacturing and supply chain
  • Full ownership of operations P&L including production recoveries
  • Ownership of standard production costs in SAP
  • Management of month end procedures within operations
  • Preparing and reviewing CAPEX projects within operations
  • Monthly operational performance variance analysis

Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Experience from manufacturing and logistics would be highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and experience in a business partnering/commercial role is essential
  • Strong Excel skills with an analytical mindset
  • SAP experience highly desirable
