Finance Business Partner

Based: Burnley area

Salary: up to £70k + bonus + benefits including 33 days holiday, private healthcare and 2.30pm Friday finish!

Four are partnering with a fantastic, growing SME business who have recently been acquired by a PLC. They are a well-known business in the area and leader in their field operating through the UK and globally as part of the new group business. This role will be number 2 to the FD, working closely on some BAU finance duties but being heavily involved in a number of exciting projects to really add value across the business

Role:

  • Commercial and strategic leadership of the finance function to better align finance with operations
  • Implementing future financial systems and processes to improve data flow from operations to finance
  • Identifying and assisting with implementing new ERP system to ensure robust and timely reporting to feed into PLC reporting requirements
  • Business partnering with all stakeholders internally and part of the group
  • Overseeing finance team, ensuring delivery of monthly management and financial requirements
  • Developing and upgrading all current financial reporting to streamline efficiencies
  • Working with stakeholders across the business including department heads, group, SLT and more
  • Developing relationships with external stakeholders to ensure delivery of corporate accounts, financial matters, reporting, audit and delivery on finances
  • Developing and implementing budgets and delivering outcomes across the business

Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant
  • Manufacturing experience is essential
  • System/process implementation and streamlining experience essential
  • Pro-active, strong communicator and able to build excellent relationships at all levels
  • Confident in your ability and keen to learn/develop in your career
