Job Title: Finance Assistant (Purchase Ledger)
Location: Manchester (hybrid)
Salary: Up to £28k
We are working exclusively with a brilliant business in Manchester City Centre who are on the lookout for a new Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Finance Team.
Within the role, you'll be supporting the team with the full Purchase Ledger process, as well as getting involved with a few additional finance duties.
You'll report into the Head of Finance and Financial Controller and work alongside the close-knit finance team.
Duties will include:
- Processing payment requests,
- Processing purchase invoices,
- Reconciling supplier accounts,
- Daily Cash Posting and bank reconciliations,
- Supporting with other areas of finance as and when needed
Experience required:
We're looking for someone with experience of working in a Purchase Ledger Position. Also, due to the nature of the business, the ideal candidate will have good customer service skills and be empathetic towards customers and those that the business supports.
