Finance Administrator

Finance Administrator
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join an innovative business based in Manchester City Centre on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a commercial and successful organisation with a great reputation. Within this role you will be responsible for supporting both the finance department and wider business, whilst following strict procedures and controls.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coding of all invoices to the relevant nominal codes & departments via Sage
  • Supporting month end payment runs
  • Managing the purchase ledger inbox, ensuring all electronic invoices are loaded onto Sage
  • Purchase order management - raise purchase orders, track against budgets, provide reports on outstanding purchase orders
  • Management of aged debtors
  • Resolving both internal and external queries
  • Supporting the implementation and review of finance processes
  • Balance sheet, cashbook, and house sales reconciliations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience of Sage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
