Executive Assistant

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: Lytham St. AnnesSalary: £30000 - £35000 per annum + benefits


A highly successful business based in Lytham, St Annes are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Paying £30,000-£35,000pa, and providing comprehensive 1 to 1 support to the CEO, this role is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing business and further progress your career within a dynamic environment.
The purpose of this role to provide administrative, project and personal support to the CEO, acting as right-hand support and as a representative of the CEO. Please see below an overview of your key responsibilities:

  • Act on behalf of the CEO; liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a proactive approach at all times
  • Diary management; manage and organise the CEO's schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Meeting coordination; arrange and coordinate meetings, including attending meetings and events on behalf of the CEO
  • Supporting the CEO, performance managing the CEO's direct reports (Senior Management team), including scheduling and documenting review meetings
  • Correspondence preparation, including creating presentations, reports and other documents
  • Take calls and respond to emails on behalf of the CEO
  • Coordinate projects
  • Personal admin support for the CEO
  • Supervise and coach lower-level staff
  • Other duties as required


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working as a board level PA or EA, ideally on a 1:1 basis
  • Excellent computer skills as this organisation are a very digital business
  • A confident personality, and not afraid to take the lead
  • A strong communicator, both verbal and written
  • Good sense of humour!
  • Hardworking and organised
  • Robust character and able to work on a wide variety of tasks
