Entry Level HR Administrator

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: PrestonSalary: £16000 - £18000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Administrator to join a business based near Preston on a full time, permanent basis. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking to start a career in HR. This is a busy and varied role where you will work alongside the HR manager on the following areas of HR:

  • Managing and maintaining employee records and files including processing variation to contracts when required.
  • Audio typing - accurately transcribe documents, taking the information from an audio recording as you are listening.
  • Managing the onboarding administration for new employees, including obtaining references, DBS checks, right to work checks and the completion of the care certificate e-learning.
  • Taking minutes at HR and management meetings.
  • Scheduling of interviews, internal and external.
  • Ad-Hoc administration tasks.


My client is looking for someone with a positive approach to work with the ability to use their own initiative and work pro-actively. The ideal candidate will hold good administrative skills preferably from a previous role in administration. The salary is £16,000 - £18,000 dependent on experience.
