Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

They are currently seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Engineer to provide exceptional support to both the valued customers and internal team. As a vital part of this close-knit crew, you will tackle a diverse range of tasks, including general administrative duties, setting up cutting-edge digital signage systems, assisting in an immersive AV experience showroom, offering internal IT support for the Group, and contributing to ongoing client requirements and account management. - Setting up digital signage media players, both Android and Linux-based.
- Configuring clients and players on the Content Management System.
- Keeping content up-to-date for clients.
- Providing expert guidance on hardware and content-related queries from clients.
- Collaborating on the development of new projects and assisting in business expansion efforts.
- Offering basic IT support for the Group, addressing system and hardware issues.
- Participating in occasional installations to gain a holistic understanding of the business and technical operations.
- Initially assisting with, and eventually leading, in-house and remote product demonstrations.
- Conducting client system training sessions via video conferencing or in person.
- Playing an active role in researching and developing existing and new products, offerings, and services.
- Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Prior experience in the AV/IT industry.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-initiative and the ability to integrate seamlessly into a dynamic team.
- Eagerness and aptitude for acquiring new processes, systems, and skills.
- Demonstrated adaptability to shifting priorities and strong multitasking abilities.
- Occasional driving and travel may be necessary for client visits.
