About the Company:

My client, Education focused organisation is dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes and fostering continuous improvement across the Northwest. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join as the Data and Analytics Lead.

Job Purpose:

As the Data and Analytics Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing the organisations data system. This system will support high-quality, timely, and effective reporting, offering valuable insights to school and leaders. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of their user's performance through meticulous analysis and evaluation of key metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a central data dashboard using PowerBI or similar tool, covering various performance indicators such as assessment, attendance, behaviour, and more.
  • Collaborate with leaders to track, interpret, and disseminate attainment and progress data, recommending appropriate actions.
  • Support individual's user bases in developing robust data collection and analysis systems, offering training and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure prompt and intelligent reporting to organisation leaders on routine and customised analysis.
  • Stay updated on national policies and changes in performance metrics, providing guidance to leaders accordingly.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in implementing data capture systems in a complex reporting environment.
  • Proficiency in utilising PowerBI (or similar) to develop high-quality central dashboards.
  • Leadership experience in data management within a school or similar setting (Desirable)
  • Proven track record in analysing data to inform interventions and enhance performance.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to establish new performance measures.

Qualifications and Training:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline (Desirable)
  • Full Driving License (Essential)
