Customer Service Billing Agent

An exciting organisation based in Salford are seeking a Customer Service Agent (Billing) to join their team on a fixed term contract until December 2022, paying £21,000pa (FTE). This role has become available due to an internal promotion and is a great opportunity to work within a fast growing business and further expand your skillset within customer services.
The purpose of the role is to work within a friendly and close-knit billing team, working to deliver excellent customer services through the delivery of key billing activities. Please see below a snapshot of your duties within this role.

• Producing bills for the company's domestic and commercial customers
• Providing customer service support for any billing queries, via phone, email and other communication channels
• Ensuring billing is completed in line wit the monthly and quarterly billing calendars
• Working towards SLA's & KPI's
• Administration of the customer database, including move ins/ outs, new connections and direct debit set ups
• Producing reports, both scheduled and ad-hoc
• Other duties as and when required

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

• Previous experience working within a customer service environment, ideally with some exposure to billing queries
• Excellent IT skills including knowledge of word and excel
• Great attention to detail
• A proactive team player
• The ability to question things and look further into discrepancies - doesn't take things at face value
