Customer Service Advisor x7 - start date 21st March 2022

A large, well-established organisation based in Manchester are seeking 7x Customer Service Advisors to join their team on a permanent basis, working within a large Financial Services department and paying £20,000pa plus a yearly bonus. The start date for this role is the 21st March 2022, so you must be available to start on this date.

To be considered for this role, you must be available for a Taster Day/ Open Day on Friday 11th March. There will be 2 slots available - 9am-11am or 11.30am-1.30pm.

The purpose of your role is to engage with customers via a number of communication channels, working with clients to effectively to understand their personal circumstances and provide solutions for any missed payments. Please see below an overview of your role duties:

  • Make and receive calls to customers who may have missed a payment on their accounts, or have fallen behind with payments
  • Understand the reasons why, and offer effective solutions
  • Update the system accordingly with all information, allowing other teams within their business to escalate if needed
  • Providing excellent customer services, providing sympathetic advice
  • General administrative and customer service work



The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working within a busy and fast paced contact centre/ office
  • OR have very strong customer service experience in retail or hospitality
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Passionate about customer services, with an empathetic attitude and a genuine desire to help people
  • The ability to multi-task
  • Great attention to detail
