Role: Credit Controller
Location: Accrington - 3 days remote working
Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 DOE
We are recruiting an excellent opportunity for a credit controller based in Accrington offering a competitive salary up to £24,000 and majority hybrid working arrangement (3 days WFH and 2 days in the office). What does the role involve?
This position will include end to end management of the sales ledger, maintaining accurate information and external relationships. Working in a team of 3 credit controllers, you will manage reconciliations, raise invoices and check revenue into the company.
- Sales ledger management working within a small team
- Query resolution and reconciliations
- Chasing overdue payments via telephone and email
- Building relationships and ensuring timely payments into the company
- Creating new accounts and maintaining updated information on the system
- Checking revenue into the company against spreadsheets
- Production of debtor statements on a monthly basis
- Creating reports for management using Excel
Who is suited to this role?
An ideal candidate will have existing experience of credit control of a year or more and will have a friendly and personable approach. Communication skills are vital for success in this role, enabling you to further build relationships with external debtors. We are looking for someone who will aim to grow alongside the company and to contribute to the wider team.
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- A proven interest and background in the credit control position
- Self-motivation and commitment
- Knowledge of Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups preferred but not essential
- Friendly nature and personable with a great phone manner
