Role: Credit Controller
Location: Wigan + Hybrid working
Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 + Company Bonus scheme
Our client is a quickly growing organisation who have recently moved into a brand new office located in Appley Bridge, Wigan. They are determined to become market leaders in their field and are rapidly increasing their turnover constantly.
They are a young company with large ambitions and are looking for a credit controller with great communication skills to join the existing finance team of 5. An ideal candidate will have previous experience communicating with clients and reducing debtor days, although training and support is provided. As a credit controller, your role will include:
- Working as a team to reduce debtor days
- Proactively communicating with clients to remind of upcoming payment dates
- Receiving payments from clients over phone and portal
- Maintaining the debtors ledger, ensuring details are accurate
- Maintaining the sales ledger, assisting the senior sales ledger clerk
The purpose of this role is to ensure a steady and reliable cash flow into the business which will further it's growth. This will be achieved through consistently achieving great results as a collective. An ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and a competitive edge, with a monthly bonus being awarded for achieving your targets - which are regularly reached by the existing team!
