Job Title: Company Accountant (Part-Time Hours can be considered)

Salary: £28k - 32k

About Us: We are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Company Accountant for a role based in Bamber Bridge. This role offers you the chance to be the first finance-person within the business! Our client is turning over £3 million and is now looking for a Company Accountant to join the team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial aspects, from weekly and monthly payroll to banking, credit control, accounts production, reconciliations, and forecasting.
- Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing to clients. Handle payment processing, including salaries for employees, contractors, and suppliers.
- Effectively manage cash flow to support daily operations and growth initiatives. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other employees, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, with a focus on financial management, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Ability to operate in a small, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Sage would be an advantage.
