Commercial Finance Manager
Based: Preston
Salary: highly dependent on experience, good benefits and progression


Our exclusive client are a fast growing, high growth business headquartered in Preston. A fantastic employer with a team of established staff throughout the business. We are currently looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their growing team, reporting into the Head of Finance this hands-on finance role will work collaboratively with senior managers and colleagues across the business to drive profitability improvement through challenging business efficiency and evaluating opportunities to reduce spend, with particular focus on operational margins and return on investment.


Ideally you will be qualified (or finalist) working in a commercial role. Experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis is essential


Role:

  • Financial and commercial modelling; working with management to improve margins across a range of activities
  • Investment appraisal and ROI analysis
  • Working on cross-department projects to deliver improvements to financial control, understanding and reporting
  • Supporting senior management to scenario plan and ensure business continuity
  • Influencing robust forecasting
  • Working with the Management Accountant to deliver insight into monthly management information for Board
  • Production of regular and ad-hoc reports to support the business


Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Commercial experience
  • Forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis experience essential
  • Ability to work with numerous stakeholders and build strong business relationships
