Commercial Finance Manager

Based: Manchester

Salary: Up to £70k + bonus + private medical + 25 days holiday (plus birthday) + more

My client are a high-growth, entrepreneurial business in an exciting sector with huge growth plans for the next 3-5 years. A well established business who have accelerated their expansion in the last 3 years, the next 3-5 years are really exciting for them with plans to triple their turnover in that time. Due to this, we are actively looking to recruit a brand new role for their finance team. This position will be reporting into the CFO and offer an exciting opportunity for a confident, competent business partner.

Role:

  • Leading on all commercial activity within finance, working with the CFO
  • Developing and leading commercial finance function including due diligence for future sales of assets
  • Financial modelling and commercial reporting on all opportunities
  • Enhancing internal reporting and driving results across 3 key business areas
  • Producing analysis, financial and commercial modelling to improve margins and allowing detailed insight into wider business
  • Working with senior stakeholders across the business driving profitability
  • Creating board reports, forecasting, budgeting and assumptions
  • Financial modelling and scenario based modelling for future investment opportunities
  • Assisting in raising debt finance, covenant reporting and cash flow forecasting
  • Ad hoc projects with the CFO/CEO
  • Working with wider finance team ensuring a collaborative team

Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with post qualified experience
  • At least 2 years in a commercial finance/business partnering role
  • Pro-active and able to work autonomously
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting experience essential
  • Strong Excel skills essential
