Role: Administration Assistant
Based: Manchester (city centre)
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Hours: 35 hours per week (9am-5pm)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administration Assistant to join one of our clients based in Manchester. This role will require the relevant individual to be all-rounded in terms of providing thorough administration support to the entire Manchester office, whilst working alongside the Senior Secretary.

Key accountabilities include (but are not limited to):
- First point of contact for any internal or external queries - meeting and greeting in person and over the telephone.
- Providing cover in relation to office management duties contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the local office, including liaising with the landlord, contractors, and our facilities team.
- Client onboarding, including managing and updating our in-house management software and ensuring our anti-money laundering procedures are adhered to.
- Production of correspondence and documents using Microsoft Word.
- Ensure that all electronic filing is up to date and maintained at regular intervals.
- Raising monthly client invoicing via our in-house management software.
- Preparing supplier invoice payment approval forms.
- Assisting in the organisation of client and staff events.
- Archiving and retrieving files and deeds from storage as required.
- Support other members of the team and provide cover as and when necessary to ensure that work is completed to a high standard and meets required deadlines.
- Any copying, printing, or scanning required, including preparation of large files or documents (paper and electronic), including indexing.
- Organising both internal and external post, i.e. courier, packages and special post.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Previous administration experience, ideally working in professional services.
- Have strong IT skills, with advanced Microsoft experience.
- Experience of dealing with highly sensitive and confidential material.
- Excellent proof reading and typing skills.
- Highly organised.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to working.
- Be able to prioritise work.
- Willing, positive, and flexible attitude.
