Job Title: - Accounts Payable Supervisor
Salary: -£28,000- £30,000 per annum

Our client is a UK leading, rapidly expanding PE backed services business. They have plans to double business turnover in the next 3 years through organic growth and acquisitions. The business is currently creating a new group structure with this role sitting within the current accounts payable function. The financial controller is passionate about offering excellent opportunities for growth and progression in numerous areas of the business.
What does the role involve?
The company is looking for a hard-working individual who can support the day-to-day running of the finance team.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the month end close process
- Work with Procurement to ensure new suppliers are signed off correctly in accordance with policies and procedures and created
- Provide training to users in the wider business
- Deal with any supplier queries or user queries
- Work with Procurement to increase compliance with the policy striving for maximum compliance across the group
- Support the Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager in ensuring supplier payment terms are adhered to
- Support the function in any required reporting activities for the organisation both internally and externally
- Involvement in Finance projects including the rollout of a standard general ledger, accounts payable system and expense system
- Work with the Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager to redefine and simplify processes
- Work collaboratively across the Finance team to support the overall Finance and Business objectives
- Regular ad hoc assistance to the Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager

- Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with Proactis, Webexpenses and SUN desirable to not essential
