Job Title: Accounts Payable

Pay Bracket: £22,000 - £26,000, depending on experience

Contract: Permanent

Location: Northwich Area

We're in close collaboration with an expanding, forward-thinking company for this thrilling opportunity. The key responsibilities:

  • Matching, checking, coding and filing invoices
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements/ Bank reconciliation
  • Building + maintaining strong relationships with customers/suppliers
  • Reviewing systems and processes and making improvements where necessary
  • Payment runs
  • Internal department reports and reconciliation
  • Expenses processing and management of expenses system

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Strong teamwork ability
  • Self-disciplined and highly efficient
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with software applications like SAGE and BACS
  • Experience in bookkeeping
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective time management skills
  • Preferred qualification in accountancy
