Accounts Assistant

Salary: up to £24,000 depending on experience

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our client, a family owned business based in Bolton. This is a permanent role due to growth within the company.

My client is looking for an ambitious accounts assistant who is able to use their initiative and hit the ground running. An ideal candidate will be at studying AAT, and will have strong IT knowledge including Microsoft Office and Sage. Strong interpersonal skills are essential in this role.

Role:

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Processing supplier invoices efficiently
  • Support with information and reporting requirements
  • Helping with month and year end as well as audits
  • Assisting with smooth office management
  • Credit control tasks when needed to support the department
  • Strong understanding of excel (Pivot Tables and Look ups are desirable)
