Accounts Assistant

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: BoltonSalary: £20000 - £24000 per annum

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant with immediate availability to work in a medium sized business based in Bolton.

On the back of recent successes, the business is looking to expand its finance team and is looking for an ambitious accounts assistant who can work quickly and accurately.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently or within a team and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing sales and purchase ledger invoices
  • Complete credit card reconciliations
  • Create reports
  • Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Collecting monthly direct debits and making payments
  • Raising monthly invoices
  • Support with the preparation of management accounts and month end duties
  • Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft office and SAP
  • Strong understanding of excel (Pivot Tables and Look ups are desirable)
  • Confident and articulate communication skills

AAT studier or QBE (Qualified By Experience) will strongly be considered

The ideal candidate will want to develop themselves further and will seek to grow with the company.
