Accounts Assistant

Location: Trafford, Manchester

Salary: £18,000

An opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a market leading business based in Trafford has arisen. This role would suit an experienced administrator with prior experience within an accounts department, who is a team player, has a mature approach, a positive attitude and looking for a lasting career.

You will join the Finance Department team where your responsibilities will include:

  • Reconciling and updating client accounting
  • Processing supplier invoices, ensuring authorisation, reconciling of statements and dealing with payment queries
  • Raising and distributing sales invoices, preparation of statements and support with credit control duties
  • Processing staff expenses and petty cash
  • Ad-hoc administration

Skills & attributes required:

  • Ideally 12 months experience within a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and strong problem solving skills
  • Good communicator and the ability to work as part of a team
