Our exclusive client, based in Chorley are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.


Working in a team of 6, reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be communicating with both internal and external clients, so strong customer service and communication skills are essential. The client requires a forward thinker, driven individual who can manage their own workload.


Job Description:

  • Providing timely and accurate responses to queries
  • Running reports as required from the accounting system
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Bacs Payments
  • Petty cash
  • Undertaking general cashiering tasks to support the wider Finance department as required
  • Data input and administrative tasks


Requirements:

  • Experience on Excel
  • Ideally experience in a similar role
  • Ability to manage own workload
