Account Manager - Customer Services

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: PrestonSalary: Up to £21000 per annum + Benefits - Working from home


A large, well-established organisation based in Preston are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team on a permanent contract, paying up to £21,000pa. Working within a close-knit team of 6 and reporting directly to the Team Manager, this is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate to expand their skills further, with an almost immediate start available.
In this role, you will responsible for providing outstanding customer services to one of the firms biggest clients, ensuring they are having a positive experience at all times. Please see below an overview of the responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive customer account support - from reporting for the client, answering any general queries or complaints, PO's or compliance queries
  • Generating any quotations for the client on the inhouse system
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify any opportunities with the client
  • Equally, identify any risks with the client you are looking after
  • Setting up clients on the online portal
  • Ensure any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently, escalating if needs be
  • General administration duties



To be considered for this role the following skills and experience are required:

  • Experience within a customer services or account management role, with outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
  • Confident and helpful telephone manner
  • Great attention to detail, it is important all information is submitted on the portal correctly
  • You must be able to start on the 22nd March and commit for a 6 month contract
  • Computer literate



In return you will receive:

  • Competitive salary of £21,000pa
  • Hours 8-5.30pm Monday - Thursday, with a 4.30pm finish on a Friday
  • Central location, hybrid working (can choose to work from home however you will be in the office for your training)
  • Immediate start date
