Senior Management Accountant- 12-month fixed term contract

Based: Salford, with hybrid working

Salary: circa £40,000- £50,000 DOE

My client, a global service provider based in Media City (Salford Quays) is currently looking for an experienced CIMA/ACCA part qualified or qualified Senior Management Accountant to join them on a 12-month contract basis. This role would suit an experienced Management Accountant or Finance Manager looking for a role that can offer commercial exposure or someone with a background in business partnering or FP&A.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will take a high degree of responsibility for the accounting of numerous assets and therefore enjoy a well-rounded role, that will give you a high degree of visibility to the wider group. You will provide and explain accurate & timely financial performance information to key stakeholders and be responsible for the budget & forecast preparation, along with the cashflow management & reporting management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing full Management Accounts to board level
  • Analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashlow forecasting
  • Attending Board meetings and presenting numbers
  • Compile and provide accurate and timely quarterly reports
  • Statutory accounts
  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Key contact for Operational Teams
  • Act as a Business Partner to service budget holders
