Salary: Up to 40k

Our client, a global business, who are growing rapidly are looking for a Management Accountant to cover maternity for 6 months, with the current growth plans that are in place there is a chance this role will become permanent. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties together with experience of producing Management Accounts. Fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a growing business.

Role:

• Reporting to the Regional Finance Managers, assisting in the month end process, gaining exposure to the Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and business KPI’s.
• Supporting the annual budget process.
• Preparation of the group sales report.
• Preparation of the Accruals and Prepayments of Subsidiaries.
• Preparation of the VAT return for review by Finance Manager.
• Population of monthly Management Information Packs in excel.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Posting of Employment cost journals.
• Weekly cash flow reports.
• Providing support in a variety of financial projects.
• Assist the Finance Manager with audit queries during year end processes.
• Any other Ad hoc duties as required by Management.
• Foster and develop excellent working relationships with other members of the finance team and wider commercial and operational functions of the business.
• As a team and on an individual basis, seek to continuously develop current processes and systems.
