Lettings Administrator

Employment Type: ContractLocation: BoltonSalary: £19000 - £20000 per annum

Lettings Administrator - Full-Time - 12 Month FTC (January 2022 - December 2022)

Based: Bolton (Office Based)

Hours: 9-5 (37.5 hours pw)

Salary: £19,000-£20,000 (dependant on experience)

My client is a family-owned lettings company based in Bolton who are looking for a customer focussed Administrator to complete a 12 Month contract covering a maternity leave. This is the opportunity to join a close-knit team of committed professionals who will guide you throughout your duties and offer continued support.

Role:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries and providing relevant information to answer any queries promptly
  • Managing paperwork including application forms and contracts
  • Arranging property viewings for students, organizing tenant check ins and logging any relevant details onto the company systems
  • Completing inventory checks both pre, post and during tenancy
  • Attending different locations to carry out inspections
  • Responding to repair issues quickly and liaising with engineers and management where necessary
  • Carrying out check outs for tenants, collecting keys and liaising with the accounts department for deposit returns
  • Handling any issues that arise professionally, ensuring that you come to a resolution, so the customers are satisfied with the service received
  • Any other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have previous lettings experience (this is not essential and candidates with very strong administration skills will be considered)
  • Be able to work outside of standard office hours in the busy period during August-September (the beginning of the academic year)
  • Have previous experience managing their own workload effectively, being able to plan out their day using their own initiative
  • Have strong administration skills
  • Have strong technical ability, and the capacity to pick up new skills and learn about new software quickly and accurately
  • Have excellent customer service skills, with expert written and verbal communication
  • Be a naturally confident, personable individual who can build a rapport with a variety of people quickly
