HR Assistant - Hybrid Working

Job Title: HR Assistant - 9 Month FTC

Pay Bracket: £25,000 - £27,000

Location: Head Office based in Preston- 3 days remote working (2 day office based)

An opportunity has come up for a HR Assistant to join an extremely successful and continually growing business based in Preston. The role offers hybrid working. The role is working on a Full Time, 9 Month FTC basis.

What does the role involve?

  • Involved in the recruitment process including coordination of interviews, running of assessment centres and ensuring the relevant paperwork is sent out to new employees.
  • Conducting exit interviews and ensuring leavers are processed correctly.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all queries into HR, both face to face and through the HR and Payroll mailboxes, responding and managing resolution.
  • Managing and maintaining employee records and files including processing variation to contracts when required.
  • Managing the onboarding administration for new employees, including obtaining references and carrying out screening.
  • Carry out HR administration processes, preparing letters and documents in line with legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • Preparing all letters or contracts for any changes to employee terms and conditions e.g. flexible working.

Who would be the right fit?

This role would suit someone who has experience from a previous role as a HR Administrator/ HR Assistant. This candidate will have excellent organisation skills, the ability to work self-sufficiently and good communication skills. This role offers flexibility to work from home.
