FP&A Analyst
Based: Manchester (1 day office, 4 from home)
Salary: up to £55k dependent on experience, holidays, pension, excellent flexible environment
6 month contract, possible future opportunities
Our client are a leading services business based in Manchester. One of the worlds largest, privately owned businesses in their sector, they have been established over 150 years. Now global, operating in over 12 countries they continue to grow with part of their growth plan around new acquisitions, hence the need for this role in the business
We are looking for a strong Accountant with FP&A experience, this is an excellent project based opportunity to gain some fantastic exposure to a global company
Role:
- Leading on the FP&A integration of a brand new business to the group
- Analysing current month end processes within the business and aligning with the group structure - what is expected in the process
- Adapting to changing processes and projects in finance daily
- Pulling together month end and project presentations to be presented in monthly meetings
- Implementing and streamlining P&L, month end to report on key revenues, cost and margin drivers
- Business partnering across the group and with the new business acquisition onboarding
- Onboarding the acquisition into the group, partnering with the executive team analysing business model, opportunities, risks, financial controls and statements
- Aligning all reporting and consolidation requirements in regards to the new acquisiton
Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- Analytical mindset and able to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Adaptable to change with projects and processes
- Experience of acquisitions would be desirable but not essential
- You must be available 1-2 weeks notice max
