Are you a Management Accountant looking for the opportunity to step up into a Finance Manager role with full autonomy over your own portfolio of entities? Are you looking to gain commercial exposure in a growing business?

Our client are a large well-known service provider who operate throughout the UK. Growing year on year with additional investments, they are a successful business.

We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to solely look after one business unit, you will take a lead on all finances including the management of an Assistant Accountant. This role is the perfect opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant looking to take that step up or an established Finance Manager/Financial Controller.

Role:

  • Supporting business unit in all financial decision making, monitoring performance through financial year
  • Business partnering - explaining accurate financial performance information to key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Budget and forecast preparation, full cashflow management and reporting analysis
  • Supporting budget holders in financial decision making
  • Providing accurate monthly management accounts alongside variance analysis to budget and forecast, providing information to senior management and Directors
  • Providing quarterly reporting to joint venture partners - attending board meetings to present numbers when required
  • Preparing annual budgets with external and internal stakeholders including reforecasts
  • Continuously improving budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting processes
  • Forming strong relationships with all areas of finance

Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Strong communication skills and commercial experience
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate financial information to stakeholders, both financial and non-financial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Staff management experience highly desirable
