In my role as HR Officer I have spent some time recently liaising with clients and candidates to ensure compliance with the Agency Workers Regulations that came in to play towards the end of 2011. The upshot of this legislation is that temporary workers become entitled to the same basic working conditions as their permanent equivalent, taking in to account qualifications, skill and experience, after 12 complete weeks of continuous service.
