    As part of Four Recruitment’s ‘Workplace Well Being Programme’ we held our very first ‘Sports Day’. Organised by our well being champions Abbie and Neil, we closed the office for a Friday afternoon and headed to playing fields in the sports capital of Horwich, Bolton! There were nine events and two teams – Team Neil and Team Abbie, the events included: Egg & Spoon Race 100m Race Long Jump Rounders 200m Race 3 Legged Race Beanbag Race Welly Wanging Team Relay Josh took the first point winning the egg and spoon race for team Neil.     Claire Sofield co-owner and sales director has been appointed as chairman of future pro-manchester. Claire moves from the position of vice chair having risen through the ranks of the future pro-Manchester committee. She will be joined by vice-chair Doug King, in continuing to promote and develop young talent within Greater Manchester’s financial and professional sector.   • Danny Nominated as Apprentice of the year

    We are delighted to announce that our Danny – the youngest member of our team – has been nominated at the forthcoming Bolton & Bury Business Awards 2017 as ‘Apprentice of the year’. Danny was nominated by the team in the ‘Apprentice of the year’ category. Since joining Four in 2015 as the companies first ever apprentice Danny has gone from strength to strength. He completed his apprenticeship early obtaining an NVQ in Business Administration, and was taken on by Four in 2015 as a full-time office administrator. A survey of its youngest members and students conducted by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) has revealed that more young people living in major cities in the north of England are satisfied in their current role than in London. The poll covered over 2,000 professionals under the age of 36 in the UK. It reflects the availability of great career opportunities in the north.
