Temporary (Commerce & Industry)
Employing experienced temporary and interim finance support is a cost effective way to deal with busy times and periods of uncertainty. By using a specialist accounting consultancy minimal training and supervision is required which means productivity is not only maintained but also increased.
Temporary work is now no longer viewed as just a "stop-gap" solution as many circumstances arise which require temporary assistance, from long terms periods of absence to aiding on a specific project. More and more companies are now recruiting on a temporary - permanent basis, this allows the client and candidate a trial basis before committing to permanent employment which means both parties get a better idea of what each can offer which can be more beneficial than an interview based scenario. When the future is unknown, reliable temporary supports gives you the flexibility to cover critical areas of work whilst evaluating specific long term roles before committing to the recruitment of a permanent team member.
For the candidate there are several benefits to temporary/interim employment:
- Increases your experience in dealing with new industry sectors, system knowledge and working cultures therefore enhancing your CV opening more opportunities to you in the future
- Paid hourly which means you are in control of your finances with the opportunity of earning overtime and holidays
- Earn a premium rate due to high demand for specialist skills
- Excellent way into a company which longer term could offer permanent positions
- Flexibility to suit your individual lifestyle, you can choose assignment length/working hours etc
