Meet our Candidate Relationship Manager

Meet our Candidate Relationship Manager
14 Jun 2021

We understand that finding a new career can be complicated and multi-faceted. We want to ensure that all our candidates receive the level of service and attention they deserve and that's exactly what Nicole, our Candidate Relationship Manager, does on a daily basis.

We've sat down with Nicole to have a chat about her candidate manager role and find out what she loves most about it.

Q&A with our Candidate Relationship Manager

What experience do you have in recruitment?

I have seven years of experience in recruitment across a variety of sectors, including education and private healthcare. I joined Four as a Candidate Relationship Manager as I really enjoy the interaction with candidates and finding life-changing futures for people.

How will candidate relationship management strengthen Four Recruitment?

It will allow us to offer our candidates the unique and dedicated care and attention they require when securing a new role. It can be a stressful and challenging time, particularly at the moment with candidate numbers so high, but my job is to ensure that we have identified all of their strengths and career aspirations to find suitable options that not only match their skills but will ensure that they fit well into the company’s ethos.

I will then work with them to ensure that they have the confidence to perform well at interview, securing their dream job. After care is also incredibly important for both candidates and clients - it can ensure a smooth transition and increase retention levels.

What do you enjoy most about your role as a candidate relationship manager?

Working with candidates is one of the most important aspects in the entire recruitment process. Understanding what they are looking for makes for a smoother recruitment process and will ultimately lead to happier and longer lasting placements.

We recently developed a set of purpose statements as to what we stand for as a company. One particular area, which was one of the most important aspects, was the fact that we are dealing with people’s lives and futures – this just shows how incredibly important it is to ensure we get it right for them!

If you've never used a recruitment agency before, Nicole can help answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, you can read our detailed guide on How Recruitment Agencies Work.
